Blackpool

The ultimate British seaside resort! At its heart is The Golden Mile with its fun filled attractions and sense of excitement. At one end of The Golden Mile is The Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park and at the other end is The Blackpool Tower. Opposite is Blackpool's famous sandy beaches, enjoy the donkey rides. Piers? as you would expect Blackpool has two, both offering entertainment from some of the most sought after UK acts. You are spoilt for choice, but some of the attractions you might want to visit include: The Pleasure Beach Theme Park, Blackpool Zoo, Blackpool Karting Centre, The Dr Who Centre, Central Pier and Blackpool Tower and Circus. When in Blackpool, don't forget to see the World famous illuminations. You can view them on The Golden Mile, maybe by Horse and Carriage or from one of the Trams. Southport

Southport is one of the Uk's oldest and most famous seaside resorts. It has great beaches, fantastic shopping and six championship golf courses! There is a full programme of festivals and shows that include: The Southport Air Show, The Flower Show, Southport Music in the Park, The British Musical Fireworks Championships and The Southport International Jazz Festival. Some of the attractions you can visit include: Southport Pier and Pavillion, Splash World, Marine Lake and The Botanic Gardens.

The Lake District and Windermere

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful regions of the Country. Its rolling hills, beautiful lakes and vibrant colours cannot fail to amaze. There are so many destinations to explore and so many things to do that we have decided to focus on just one, Windermere, to give you a flavour of what you can expect. Windermere is in the heart of the Lake District. It is a centre for watersports and climbing. There are walks to suit all ages and levels of fitness. Lake Windermere is over 10 miles long and is England's biggest lake. You can cruise on it, swim in it, canoe, sail or water ski, the choice is yours! Whilst in Windermere you might like to visit the Steamboat Museum and the Visitor Centre.

Lune Valley

Situated between Kirby and historic Lancaster is The Lune Valley. Here you will see one of the most beautiful stretches of river you can imagine. The scenery is breathtaking, with the river streaming past old villages and churches. You can stop off along the way at any one of many old and traditional pubs.
